Our dressage is a Hickstead qualifier and also a qualifier for the Sunshine Tour Championships 2012
GDRC are pleased to announce that all Dressage-Show Jumping-Showing events from Jan to Aug 2012 will be qualifiers for the Sunshine Tour 2012 Championship.
The Sunshine Tour is an exciting Unaffiliated Championship Series in the South-East featuring dressage, show jumping and showing.
The Championship Show will be held at Great Bookham Equestrian Centre on 22nd & 23rd September 2012
. There’s a wide choice of championship classes to qualify for and fantastic prizes to be won.
Qualification
Dressage: 1st-6th qualify in selected Walk & Trot, Prelim, Novice and Elementary classes.
Show Jumping: 1st-6th qualify in selected classes: 1’9”/50cm, 2’/60cm, 2’3”/70cm, 2’6”/75cm, 2’9”/85cm, 3’/90cm and 3’3”/1m
Showing: 1st-3rd qualify in selected classes of In-hand, Lead Rein, Ridden Showing and Working Hunter/Pony

Welcome to the Goring & District Riding Club, we are a fairly small friendly club based in the area around Worthing/Goring. We are affiliated to British Riding Clubs and are part of Area 13
What We Do
We run many different events throughout the year, for all standards of riding. We hold several shows a year mainly at Castle Goring on the A27
We also have Summer & Winter Dressage series at Hangleton Farm. In the autumn we hold two Hunter Trials and an Eventers Challenge at Titnore Lane, Goring, also clear round evenings throughout the summer. We enter quite a few successful teams in all the disciplines at Area and National level Plus we have evening events in Patching Village Hall like lectures, tack sales and quizzes. Clinics for Flatwork and Gridwork are organised for all abilities using qualified Instructors and Trainers
